EVO's in Dallas/FW
 

I am planning a trip down to Dallas in May.,...I know its a few months from now but I'm going down there to see if I can find a decent paying job, and also to be close to my friends.

im sick of living here in NYC....


I was wondering how the EVO scene is down there...
maybe we can meet up once I make my move...

I'm trying to convince my bro to move down with me also. With 5 years serving active duty in the US NAVY under his belt, he has like 2 years of tech schooling to go. He's striving to be a BMW/Mercedes Technician, and I'm striving to start my own automotive business as well. I currently work in the finance/banking industry and although it pays me well, I'm bored of it.
Everyday I sit in the office in a suit and daydream of working on cars...

We both hope to put our heads and our talents together and open up a garage and do installs/tuning one day.

Its been our passion since we were kids....and nothing else makes us happier or gives us fullfillment....

anyhow, my girl is behind me 100% whereever I decide to move, hopefully she continues with her education and is able to get into her teaching career.


anyway, I'll look you guys up when I'm in town... {thumbup}

FYI, the housing costs here are going to make you sick. You can get a brand new house in a NICE neighboorbood for well under 150k. Expect 3 bedrooms and some decent square footage with that price tag as well.

We might not be able to keep up with the city that never sleeps. But the night life here is probably some of the best in the country. Great local music scene as well if you're into that.

And a HUGE automotive community. We'd be happy to have ya!

I know I been going to realtor.com to see hosuing prices there. $150K is all I think I need to spend for a decent hosue in a nice neighbiorhjod. Hopefully it'll have a nice 2 car garage for my rides and a decent yard for my future children when they are born.

Where do you guys go to drag race and auto- x???

Ennis is the main 1/4mile drag strip in D/fw. THere are a couple 1/8 mile as well.
