For any car-heads around the Raleigh NC area me and some of my fellow Mazdaspeed people have a monthly meet that we open up to anyone regardless of the car you have. We've been meeting for a few months now on tuesdays and usually get between 5 and 10 people show but starting in November we've moved it to Saturdays and are expecting a good turnout. So, bring all your friends and your rides and let's make this a fun event. Many of us are big EVO heads and would love to see EVO's and Lancers (especially since many like me are wanting to buy one someday). Here's all the details:

it's good times......we'll hang out in the lot, look at cars, then go in and eat and chat and shoot pool, play golden tee, etc.

Ill be there ! you missed out this weekend you should have made the trek to Virginia with us.. the backroads we took were a freakin BLAST! you should get all those people together and see if they want to make the deals gap run we are setting up for the 22-24 of OCT!

 

yeah, went to the Superbike races at VIR this weekend. I'll spread the word about the Gap trip....should be lots of fun!

 

That sounds like a good time. I'll see if i can get some of the people in Boone want to roll down there in November. If anybody from the home town (wilmington)wants to roll up there leave me a pm seeing as how i have to get the evo because i left it there . I know a few guys with some pretty sick cars that might be down. Loj do you happen to know a guy with the forum name Mazda2k1mp3? He posts all the time on the mazda forums, pretty good friend of mine.

 

doesn't ring a bell from the Mazdaspeed forums but I may have met him at one of the meets and didn't know it. What does he drive?

 

a blue turboed mp3 sedan with a cf hood, he used to have ti silver volk le28n's but i think he has 16 bronze gram lights now. His name is Jamie and he works for AutoRND. Just thought maybe you may have ran into him.

 

oh yeah, I know Jamie. He's been to a bunch of the meets. Matter of fact here's a funny pic they got of him at our big yearly bash in August....let me know if this is the same guy

Just to give everyone a little more information about the Raleigh Monthly Meetings:

Me and two of my other Mazda friends (Matthew and Chris) decided to have monthly meetings in Raleigh. This is NOT an exclusive Mazda only meeting. We thought this would be the best way to meet up with other area peeps, meet new people and hang out with friends.
We meet at the Carolina Ale House on the first Saturday of each month at 5 pm. Come out, bring your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/friends and hang out!
