Me and my friends hang out at Barrett, The Varsity, the Kroger next to Old National, or anywhere in town.



Has anyone been to, or heard of people meeting up and racing on Sunday nights at 138? It's a big Ingles parking lot next to highway 138 by Evander Holyfield's house. I've been there a million times, I was just seeing if anyone was familiar with it.

 

I use to go to hwy 138 all the time but I guess i'm pass that phaze. I find myself on a lone curvy road by myself in the middle of the night now. lol You should try the new road they built by the airport, its pretty fun after 1a.m.. (no cars at all)

Damn, now only if we can get organise and all meet up! That'll be a sweet time/pix. Why can't we get together like all the other states?

 

well, if anyone is interested, there are meets that go on every weekend at the buford park-and-ride off the 985 exit. there is also a meet on saturday nights around 11 at the BP right next to 85 on pleasant hill... i hit those up last weekend and theres a lot of american muscle... these evos need to get out there.

i heard something about thursday nights at the varsity.

does anybody know anything about that?

 

When I had an RSX I went to the Varisity with other RSX drivers on Thursdays. The only thing is that if we roll in there with 15 to 30 Evos, there will not be enough parking since the other import cars are there, but on a Wedsnesday night, that would be great. A group of Atlanta Evos met their right before Snoop moved to California. It was a good time.
It is a good location, and pictures taken there look good. Snoop has a good picture of his car on the Varisity parking deck with the Bank of America building (talled building in Atlanta) in the background.
Plus, we can all sit down and enjoy a Varisity burger and fries.
Also, there is a Junior Varsity in Buckhead right off 85 that has enough parking for a group of Evos.
What does everyone say about once a month, say the 2nd Wednesday around 7:00ish. That allows traffic to drop a little. We can eat, take pictures of the cars, talk, etc. After that, those who want to can make an Evo convey to Starbucks in Buckhead near Disco Kroger (tt is really called that). There is plenty of parking for the cars, and the patio area will be great in summer.
