We were there today. Sara drove her yellow EVO, Sung rode with her, and I drove my MR.... We did not see any other cars at all... We did 2 runs in the wet road It was very nice as there was practically no traffic It's too bad more ppl did not meet up and come with us this morning. For me it was super nice to try the MR at the dragon. This car is awesome..... All I can say is that there is a huge difference between the MR and my previous '03 GSR......

I'll post some pictures later. It would have been lots more fun if we'd had more EVOs.... Oh well, maybe next time.

Well, we did have a nice time, we got there around noon I think. Two runs was OK, we also enjoy the driving to and from the tail of the dragon.... I wish we could have met up with more folks though... I needed to get back to Atlanta by 6 pm, but I think Sara and Sung would have enjoyed hooking up with you all...

nice pics...yeah i had just entered the dragon around 12ish hung out around the overlook from about 1:30-2:30. Didnt see one Evo. I was dissapointed for all the hype. The subaru guys were fun though. Wish I coulda met up with you guys.

 

nice pics....next time a group wants to go up let me know. My company has a resort up there and I can let 4 stay with me for free(most likely more). I am about 2.5 hrs away so down for any weekend.

Well, it would be really nice at least a base of operations or meeting point. Actually, this time of the year is great if the weather is like it is now (Sun Jan 9). The traffic is very light, no tourons or even bikers. The road is pratically ours

Of course, it's justr as likely to end up in the middle of a snowstorm (that happened to me one time). Anyway, I'd like to do it again some time. Maybe it would be nice to meet up at the entrance of the road early in the morning some sat. Then we could do a few runs and be done before any traffic would even start....

Lets see if we can actually get more that one or two EVOs to join up next time ..........

Yeah Andrew is an incredible guy who does awesome work and really takes care of his customers. His shop is top notch and He'll be one of the few/only people who ever touch or work on my Evo. I definately recomend Him to anyone in the area.

:ff topic:: I made 258.5whp and 243ft-lbs TQ ((eqivualant to 302whp on a Dynojet)) this weekend down at dyno4mance. I had a few issues with my car that wouldn't allow me to use more then 17-18psi. I just basically need an Xede flash, and new stock bc, because I damaged mine installing my IC piping and had to install my hallman. So the Xede couldn't controll boost and i was hitting fuel cut with the stage0+ map, that was custom tuned to the cars specs, at 19psi for some reason. I'm not to worried about it because I still made more power then I expected and once I get the Xede flash i'll be able to run 19-20psi and make around 260ish whp. then the cam gears, cams and possibly hotside. I should be sittin around 300whp on pump. I'll be really happy then. :ff topic::
