Question for PRVRT or anyone else that may know:

As you know (or don't know) I have overspray on my wing (the carbon fiber part). I want to wax the wing, but don't know if I can wax over the overspray if Im gonna get it fixed or if it doesn't really matter since it might just be replaced anyway?

You can claybar the carbon fiber part? Just don't wanna mess it up! But the claybar won't take off the overspray right? I want to make sure that waxing over the overspray won't like embed it in there.

When I first got my car it had dents on it (unbeknownst to me) and in order to fix it and blend it in they had to respray that section. SO they sucked at covering up the car and only covered the spot right around the area they were fixing and not the whole car = overspray practically everywhere.

Tried to get them to fix it and took it to the dealer twice.. both times they had told me to come in the "paint guy" wasn't there. Such BS. Anywho.. gonna try to take it to Kendall.

 

kendall is good for warranty work, however, the body shop guy is a joke

 

Im hoping to just get my wing replaced, instead of possibly getting effed up worse by them trying to fix it. Then prvrt said they would prolly send me to another body shop..?

Getting the overspray fixed you may have to do it on your own. Kendall sucks on Bodywork issues. I generally use Collision Solutions on US 1 for any bodywork or painting. There is another shop on 117th Ave and 120th street that did a good job fixing my Evo's rear bumper after I got hit back in October 2003. It's behing the Blue Sky food place. The shop was clean and well run back then. Go check it out and get an estimate. I'll see if I can find the old receipt if I can, I'll get back to you next wednesday when I get back into Miami.
