Dust to Glory - Atlanta
Dust to Glory - Atlanta
Dust To Glory will be shown starting this Friday at the Landmark Midtown Arts Theater in Atlanta. I’m posting this because finding movies like this can be tough. I’m on the e-mail list of the theater and this is what they sent me:
"DUST TO GLORY (PG, 1:55) **OPENS EXCLUSIVELY AT THE MIDTOWN ART CINEMA**
From director Dana Brown (Step into Liquid) comes an adventurous documentary on the most notorious and dangerous race in the
world-the Baja 1000. Rivaling the Indy 500 and 24 Hours of Daytona, the race across Mexico's Baja Peninsula is unpredictable, grueling and raw. To capture the rich photographic quality of the desert and the intense action of the race, the film team utilized 55 cameras, four helicopters, a four-passenger buggy camera car and a crew of over 80 people. Includes appearances by racing icons Robby Gordon, Mario Andretti, Jimmy Vasser and Motorcycle Supercross Legend Mike "Mouse" McCoy.

So if you want to support this type of film and have a chance to talk to one of the riders, there you go. I saw it last week at a preview showing and it was an entertaining film. I don't imagine it will be playing long, so see it while you can.
Best wishes,

What can I say, I like movies. I get most of my info and passes from chud.com. They are an Atlanta based movie site. I actually put in for passes to a preview of “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” and the passes for Dust to Glory were in the envelope as an added bonus. I would really recommend catching Dust to Glory. It was good. It tells a good story, some humor and some awesome racing. The Midtown Arts Theater is also pretty neat. They show a lot of the movies that don’t make it into wide release.
