I don't think it will have any effect on stopping moisture from getting in...water will find a way and there are plenty of holes there. Debris maybe, but I don't see that being a big problem. Seems to be that it's there to hide the "ugly" engine compartment which is beautiful to me. It's coming off.

Yeah that's the one. Just got back from butting JIC Coilovers, HP+ pads, SS Brake lines, and racing brake fluid in it. Man it made a huge improvement in handling, looks, and braking. I need some new tires ASAP.

It's a big version of one of these in carbon fiber vinyl...in fact, all of the decals are done in CF.
