Dragon Run

I was just wanting to see if anyone is interested in getting together and running the dragon. I know last year that a group got together and ran it. If anyone is interested give me some dates.

You know funny you say that. I was just there last week, I missed the Killboy (sorry I couldn't call back, cell service was a no go in Robbinsville) tun but I did find a few others out there, nice people and a neat city. There is tons of scenery around there. I will be back there on the 3-5th of January. Yes it is that addictive.

Along the TN/NC border, hwy 129 also known as Deal's Gap. 318 corners in an 11 mile strech, do a google for Deal's Gap or Tail of the Dragon. It is a MUST drive!!!

If you haven't been, you should hook up with the Georgia Evo owners one of these days and go.

you'll never forget it as long as you live.

I think they're having a small meeting in febuary. Day tripping.

I'll find out.

I used to live up in Maryville, TN. on the TN side of the Dragon, that's some great driving! There are a ton of other places near by too! I'm trailering my Evo up in August, Deo Volente. If you're going to be in the area then let me know.

I went there in last Nov. It was the best drive I ever had!! We drove like 6 round trip and my front stock Yoko became bold. What makes that place so special is that most of the corner has a nice bank. Unfortunately, I'm moving to Cali so I won't be able to go.
Killboy.com was there and they took really nice photo.
It might be too cold to drive there though. I guess you can still go if there's no snow on the road.

Only a few more days and I will be heading back up there. This time I would like to see the Cherohala skyway, looks like another good driving road and not as "tight" turning as the dragon.

May 21st a group of cars from PA is going to be down there. It will be slightly mixed group but I am taking my car.. You have to be careful what weekends in the spring because the Miatas and the MINIs go.. The 21st was past April showers and not one of those club dates..

Just a suggestion if you guys wanted to go that weekend too.
