Because 1) a person who actually picks up the phone and calls probably has some actual interest; 2) I can more fully describe the car and answer questions as they come up on the phone as opposed to fielding piecemeal, often repetitive questions from various posters; 3) I can judge better from a phone conversation whether this the car fits the caller's expectations ; 4) I am unable to check into this Forum as regularly as some others.

I imagine from a marketing point of view, this technique prolongs the selling process but I have found it saves me time by letting me deal with the more earnest potential buyers.
