Actually, my transmission EXPLODED and my engine has lost a lot of compression so I am out for the dyno day, and a car for a while , so you can have my spot if you want. I guess that is "karma" working its magic on me....

 

Sorry to hear about your ride man, I actually took your spot. John PM'd me about it when you had to cancel.

 

The cost of the dyno time is going to be around $80 an hour. It might be a little more, but no more than $90. We are shooting for $80 though. Being that this place is right off of I-77, it shouldnt be too hard to find a good place to stay. If you are staying just Saturday night, you might want to get a motel closer to hickory. Hickory is a fun place on Friday and Saturday night. There might be some domestic versus import street action going on. Its fun to watch if nothing else. If you would prefer to stay closer to the dyno Saturday night, I will let some of the ones that live closer to it, give you some hotel referrals.

Evotagger moved his tune to Raleigh this week. Jestr is going to be in Raleigh this week before coming up to our area on Friday afternoon.

It appears that Preston maybe able to get done Saturday if he wants.. If not we will have some time left for just regular dyno pulls (3 runs for $50).. We might have some time left for dyno runs even if Preston gets tuned on Saturday.

Thank you very much I appreciate the hospitality! Any ideas of a fairly nice one off the exit? I would like to make a reservation before heading up on Friday. The one time I went somewhere without a reservation... I couldnt get a room so I drove 2 hrs outta my way to get a place to sleep. LOL

Does anyone just want to dyno? No tuning, just throw the car on and make 3 runs for $50? We might have some spare time, if people want to do that. If anybody does please post, so we can try to plan for that.

He has some regular work business up in RTP. They required his assistance up there. So he decided to come up this week. Anybody needs any tuning in Raleigh this week up until Thursday evening, PM me and I will get you in touch with him.

Fresh: He is going to get another one. The MR SE edition that is coming out in a few months. He wanted a black MR and now he has a chance to get it. I believe all the other parts MAY be transferred to a new one.
