Got my GPS up and running for... what the heck is this meet going to be called anyway? Im suprised there hasn't been an annual or a spring/fall meet for the dragon yet.

Could this be the 1st annual Evo's on the Dragon?

Is everyone still excited as I am? Haste you might have another coming from orlando, I think Matt is trying to get off of work to come up and play.

 

You guys do know that this is the same weekend as the S2000 "Wakin' the Dragon" rally (~200 cars) and the Honda Prelude 2nd annual rally (I believe 2 cars rolled last year, one was a head-on between 2 Preludes) and a couple of motorcycle groups. Plan on playing at odd times, nights, other places if possible.

 

Eh, I still think it will be a hell of a time.

 

Went there this weekend to get a feel for it. Lots of turns. Great scenic spots. Some people were taking pics there weekend. Lots of bikers. Saw a delorean (Spelling?) Some miatas, a 300zx about to lose it in front of a cop (helarious, trying to show off), and a sweet S2000.
Will definately be there when everyone shows. bikers says there are some Drift cars out there on the weekends, so be careful.

 

Yeah I saw you up there playing with a Scion I believe? Passed by and waved at ya just below Deal's Gap when I was coming back up from shooting the rafters, then saw you going back up while I was at the store.

Hope the cops didn't hassle your friend too much, I heard they hung around for a couple of hours after having to come up for an accident. (cruiser)

 

Well overall I think the weekend will be great no matter how many cars are out. Everyone out there is there for the same thing and have a driving passion. It would be kinda nice to see some s2k's up there.

 

I was going to mention the same thing.. s2ki.com has nearly 200 coming, nsxprime has a few coming as well. this is going to be one huge weekend.. this will be my 5th time going...it's a great stretch of road.. just remember not to cross the lines!!

 

Killboy, heard a lot of great things about you man. Everyone I talked to said you take great shots and a real cool dude. Yea the guy is the scion tc was a good buddy of mine, I had some friends in the car so did not try anything crazy. We got stuck behind some slow people, so couldnt do much of anything. The cops were long gone when we left. I didnt speed since I have driving school this thursday. There was another evo (Silver) there as well.

 

i don't know if anyone has ever had pictures from killboy before but i have been fortunate to purchase a few... his pictures are definitely amazing. i'm sure he will have more great ones that weekend!
