I dunno places in that case to make suggestions, but I'd be willing to go if it's not too far (less than an hour away). Towers is a huge hangout for all cars though if you were any bit interested in that, at maybe another time.

The Aventura Mall meet is designed for the northern folk.. Instead of having all of our meetings in central Dade county (miami), we have them at Aventura also.. Aventura is on US-1 right at the Dade/Broward line.. We have a couple guys from Boca show up there.. Dont remember thier names, I think one is J.Brown or something to that effect.. We usually end up going to a local dennys or something to eat after the meet.. The last Aventura meet, we had about 20 EVO's I believe.. It's all great and the highway drive isn't bad at all..
As for the Tower shops meet on Friday nights.. It's probably the best car show you could go to on a regular basis.. It's got practically every car you can think of from the year 1940-2006... Very nicely done.. It's been there for probably more then 10 years now.. Good luck, hope to see you...

lol. It won't hurt anything... Unless you miss the class where he assigns a paper due in 2 weeks and cancels the next class and you don't find out until you show up for class the week after you miss and sit there for a few minutes, then realize no one else is showing up b/c there's no class and somehow get the info on the paper. But that probably won't happen to you.. I just have bad luck lol.
when did they move the temevo meets to Aventura? I never went to them before because the dolphin is a pita to get to for me =) That and i'm still in the ralliart 
I used to live in delray and went to lots of mixed meets. I only knew a handfull of evo owners who knew...well.. anything about their cars from the area. A few used to hang out at billet design alot. i havnt frequented lately, but they usually list a lot of the local meets on southfloridaracing.com. might want to check it out, as well.
