Red wrecked evo outside Raleigh yesterday

On my way out of the Raleigh airport yesterday, I came accross a pretty seriously flipped red evo 8 with emergency crews on 540. Wanted to see if it was anyone here and if they were alright

No...looked to be bone stock. It was spun around facing the wrong way with the roof all caved in.

I saw the same accident and meant to post, but forgot...it was on 540E around exit 7 or 8

Looked like possible street racing?? The car had lost control and run off the road onto the embankment on the right...it dug up a pretty serious divot and took out a road sign. There was an older jetta (mk2 or mk3) with wheels that had pulled over alongside the evo. I didnt see any reason the car would have lost control...no rain, no skid marks on the pavement...just looked like the car ran off the road and spun out in the grass

hope the driver is OK

Fixed. J/K.

Hope everyone is OK. You never know a deer could have run out in front of him, blown a tire or, something.

Thats the one. I noticed the Jetta too. That roof caved in pretty far in the middle although the rest of the car didnt look terrible. Maybe a tire blow out at speed or trying to pass on the shoulder
