But being realistic, the prices of the 996 Turbos have dropped so much that it almost seems like a no-brainer at the 50-60k pricepoint.

 

Well GVR kid beat out sgt blamo. It starts with an L and ends with an I I almost fell for the 997 Turbo But since I'm known for going over the top, the Gallardo wins. Besides, it's so damn sexy. We'll see what happens. I hate haggling with dealers and most won't budge on pricing. Which happens to be 10-15k over national market value here in Florida. I made an offer on one and will know more later this week. Now, when we all gonna meet up. I think it would be fun. Name the time and place and I'm there. Will someone take me for a ride in an evo......

Mine isn't even the same car any more, new turbo, KW coilovers, Carbonetics clutch,3.5" exhaust,etc,etc.

Your ascent up the automotive ladder has been so steady over the last like 10 or so years that I've seen your cars (back to the black GSR). Just wanted to give you the for doing it all on your own and the right way. Awesome.

 

TheGVR4kid- Thanks All the cars have been so much fun. The evo and type-R are my all time favorites. I'll have to say it has been very hard to find a replacement for the evo Sometimes I wish I never sold it, but if you don't set new goals life gets boring On to the next project. I'll try to get with you guys in a week and see if we can't get something together. I'm friends with the President at Moroso, maybe we can get a little car meet together out there and tear up the go kart track or something???

 

I am that some guy that works in your building --I have been trying to figure out who drove the white VIII with the volks for some time--... Your car inspired me to buy my IX --it was the first evo I had seen in person ...I noticed it one day when i was locking up the back...I gave it a good study over and said --wow that looks much better than the STI.. a few months later the dealership had an 06 on their lot and I wasted no time picking it up ---I am the circ manger for FP ...what depertment are you in?? I had heard that you might work in IT ?? Do you know Sasha Schlicht. in Stuart ? or Kristie Tillis?
