Moving to Tampa

Hey Guys,

I should be moving to tampa by the end of next month...huge move...I've lived in CT for 11 years. I have an evo IX that's heavily modified running a test pipe with the AMS full TBE. The only thing im worried/wondering about is how cops are around the area, I've had no problem around here for a long time until summer time rolled up, now cops are out to get every car that is modified or "looks like a streetracer", they slapped me with a $400 unnecessary noise ticket. I still have the exhaust on and was wondering if I should start looking at something else. I'm also looking for apartments if anyone knows about any really good apartments without uptight neighbors.

Hey welcome to Tampa. I've lived in Tampa for over 20+ years and can say Tampa its the safest of any of the near by City's. I've got tickets in the nearby areas none in Tampa (yet)

They have been cracking down on Street racing Firday-Sat nights so weekends cops are everywhere. But to answer your question as long as you don't Roll up next to a Cop thats in a BAD mood running Stright Pipe (lol) you should be ok.

Apt's around Tampa One bed range from 450-600$ sometimes more check out different areas of Tampa...

C ya around town.

It might be me, but it seems like right when Crist took over there was massive patrolman out pulling people over. And then it slacked off a little, but lately it seems a little worse again. I'm talking, people in general, not just loud cars.

But overall, this area isn't that bad.
