It's unfortunate that after dodging the bullet for 4yrs in my 03' evo, I've finally developed this dreaded 5th gear grind that won't go away anymore. There's a TSB out for this. I need to find a Mitsu service shop that can do high quality work on my transmission under warranty. Can you guys recommend me a good one in Orlando?

I've heard all good things about Sport Mitsubishi. My roommates friends dad is the parts manager. I actually need to get my transfer case looked up but when does that go out of warranty mileagewise? Aside from tuning which voids it

you may want to check out Daytona Mitsu as well. I bought my car from them and haven't had to take mine back, but I have heard good things about their service.

Thanks guys. I called up Sport Mitsubishi and asked for Shawn Harris, he seemed pretty nice, yet a little hesitant about the TSB. I got an appointment for tomorrow, so we'll see how this goes. Like he pointed out, I have stock clutch and pretty minimal mods, so it should go better for me. I'll let you guys know what becomes of this.

Thanks again guys. Sport Mitsubishi was very professional and even though I have a few mods on my car, they are covering this under warranty, replacing all my synchros. The turnaround time is very fast too, I should get it Monday, that's only 3 days of work (saturday is a short day too).

I picked up my car today. Thanks again Frisby. Sport Mitsubishi took real good care of my car and I. They replaced 2nd-5th gear synchros, pressure plate, and throwout bearing--much more than I expected. I no longer get clutch chatter too now.
