Alright...f-ville guys, and the guys here...what's everyone's final opinion on clutches? ACT, exedy, quartermaster, tilton, fidanza...there's so many choices.

I'm leaning exedy twin. Nothing but good things, plus a re-build kit. Heard some good about quartermaster, but a little harsh for DD and 1st gear pullouts. Mostly good about ACT too. I got a sweet deal on an exedy twin HD. Just want final opinions before purchasing. The car is only good for running very short errands. The clutch smells like I'm grilling tupperware! lol

you wont like the feel of

the tilton or the quartermaster

the ACT wont hold as long

the exedy is prolly more of what u will want for feel and DD ability

i think the fidanza would be great but never had any experience with one.

IF it were my car and i was doing another clutch i would go with the quartermaster

BUT.. i think u will be happiest with the exedy

PS... IF THE CLUTCH SMELLS CONSTANTLY.. SSTTOOOPP DRIVING IT... it is GOING to leave you beside the road.

no. Mike with the silver MR is still here, and Ryan with the Blue one is around. One of the guys wives is here with a black 8 too.

I'm not sure which ACT most go with, but has anyone used it with a sprung 6 puck? National speed was suggesting going with that. They could do the clutch including install for $1600. Still not sold on the ACT, just wondering more input/experience with the 6 puck.
