Greetings from Houston, my Southeastern brethren!

I played on the Tail this past Saturday while driving back to Houston from New York City. I spent 3 hours on the section from the overlook thingy to Deal's Gap and there were no cops and only a few other vehicles.

Saw a cop parked down on the lower section by the dam while driving back to Knoxville.

FYI that Deal's Gap is closed for the season.

We just got back tonight. Besides a BMW E46(with an EU55 6 cyl ?), there was no one else to play with, we had the whole Dragon to ourselves, poor guy tried to keep up, we had to slow down several times to wait for him, by the time we were @ the bottom on the TN. side, we were waiting about 15-20 seconds for him to arrive. We have quite a bit of video to edit before posting on "youtube" and some great pics too. We put in over 500 miles in 2 days!! I about wore out a brand new set of Toyo RA1's in those 2 days! We averaged 51 MPH on the Dragon & 70 MPH on the Hellbender on one day. There were 3 sections on the Dragon I know we hit about or over 110 mph in the small straights. The FP Green KICKS ****!!!!
This was the best run yet!

WOW. I am so jealous that I couldn't make it...and sorry that I didn't get hold of you on the phone...I had a hilarious incident where I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet at work. Not pretty.

Glad you had a good, safe time, with no tickets. Can't wait to get there with you next year.
