What?? Are you selling the EVO or just going a different route as far as modifications go?

 

no full part out, going to get another evo and keep it stock level. The most fun i had with my evo when it was around stock level.

 

Nice, I hear ya there. I love having the quick spool with the stock turbo. I'm really thinking about possibly going HTA green or the older green just to get closer to 400. I feel 400-450 would be the perfect amount of power for a DD.

Tho I'm sure its fun breaking loose all 4 tires with 800+ hp

I've had my IX MR for almost a year now and have started to really get the MOD bug lately. I wanted to hit around 400 whp and about mid to high 300 tq only cause I'll be using my car for DD and I think that'll be good enough for right now.

Any of you guys have the BBK full or have had experience with it?

Welcome, it does sound as if you have got the bug for modding. Good luck hope to see you around. If you have time there is going to be a meet at Taylors sport-n-import in Mooresville this Saturday come out and meet some of the other Evo guys. You might be able to pick up some slightly used upgrades or hook with one of the guys to get you some new parts your interested in.

 

both my gf and i were really sad and disappointed after test driving it, my gf really wanted an evo and it didnt matter as long as it was atleast as fast as mine and was red, yellow, black, white, silver, or blue

 

He did strip some off of it so it probably wasnt running much boost. Cosmo Motors in Hickory has like 5 or 6 Evos right now forsale. He has a couple that has been modified and a couple that are stock.

No need for super high end whp (which would be great to have on tap though )

But my current MODs are as follow:

-ETS 3" FMIC
-Hallman MBC
-Greddy 3" exhaust with test pipe
-Injen UICP, LICP, and Intake pipings
-Walboro 255

Nothing too fancy. Just basics cause I haven't had time to thoroughly research what to put in next. Care to chime in with any MODs?
