^ Kasey tuned it saturday afternoon. all i can say is OH MY GOD!!!! its like a night and day difference. by far the best thing i have done for the car EVER! would recommend him to any one with a evo an maybe anyone with a subie

Hey guys, gonna need some help....

My friend is buying a 03 Evo tomorrow and it has some aftermarket parts (nothing major just bolt ons, and possibly cams). He is getting it stupid cheap, but it has some problems he is gonna need to fix.

During the test drive it drives GREAT under normal driving but once you floor it and boost gets around 14psi it starts to break up and seems like it hits a rev limiter (or like a over boost).

He has 5 days after he buys it to return it if he wants, so we need to find someone or a shop that would be willing to help us diagnose the issues, maybe put it on a dyno and see how the tune looks and the air/fuel.

anybody have any ideas? or suggestions?

Zmax will have the Summer Drag and Brag starting in June almost every sunday.
We should have a meet in charlotte and then all roll out there together. We can pick a date that everyone can come out too.
Lets pick one thats good for everyone.

I would say you need to have him get in touch with Kasey. He should be able to fix the problems rather quickly and at the same time determine if it's as good a deal as he is hoping for. If it's something that can't be remedied thru tuning Kasey can give him a very good ballpark on getting it right.
