Charlotte Area Evo Owners
Hey guys, I was wondering if I should let 3sx, or performance/ tune shop around the area take a look at my car for this p0300 issue I'm having. I have no idea why, did tune-up, properly gapped plugs and etc, even had the tsb regarding the input shaft and 5th gear job done. The only reason why I ask is because the evo is stocked and the dealership can't figure out why its still doing it.
There is another TSB for the reverse idler gear causing the P0300. The other TSB you are talking about states that if the p0300 is cured, that the whole input shaft needs to be replaced.
Stock? so no cams?

Yeah, its completely stock, no cams, no engine mods. Hmm, I haven't heard about the tsb on the reverse idler gear, I'll ask Keffer about it.

Anyone else interested in attending or just spectating? It's at Knights Stadium in Fort Mill.
wow, thanks! So I'm getting a rattle, possibly slight clutch chatter when the clutch isn't engaged, which maybe they could translate over to as being a rattle while idling, therefore replacing the reverse idler gear? Or should i just tell them, look, orangey yellow SES light fix now! Haha, jk!
Thanks!
Thanks!

EvoZ and I will be driving down to Michelin HQ in SC this weekend for a 2 day autox race. The next three weekends after that I have free.
We definitely need to organize another meet, it's been too long since Rockingham.
I'm also waiting to hear news about public test/tune at the new Zmax dragway in Concord, hopefully we can run there before the end of the year. That would be a perfect location for a meet too.

I have all kinds of trans rattles, I cannot get rid of them.
