60 mph sideways + rock = blown tire and wrecked bumper

well i went back out to the desert this weekend for some camping and rally in the dirt. well as the topic says i hit a rock drift sideways and it blew my tire and ripped my bumper off partly. had to limp the car back to San Diego on a donut. decided that since the bumper is screwed i might as well opt for a jdm rear. figured i'd share some pics with ya'll.

threw in some pics of my boy larry drifting. and the pic of the rock is what i hit.

I saw the rock and tried to manuever around it, so i knew when i felt the jolt what happened. i was pissed for a split second and than I told my friend looks like it's time for a jdm rear bumper. wasn't gonna let it worry me too much. just sucks that i can't drive the car right now.

Adding more air to the tires would help, may not have stopped this from happening but would have made it harder for the tires to seperated from the rim.

also looks like your off-roading is doing a number on your paint.
