Well lets organize something then, I've been trying to convince people for years to combine efforts and get one of the boxes, but no one ever bites. Being this late of a notice, lets at least meet up somewhere on one of the hills. I'm sure myself, Charles and a few others will come prepared with coolers and chairs. I'll have the my GG evo parked on the outside of the hairpin for sure, sporting TTP and Robispec stickers, but i'm getting regular tickets as well so i can walk anywhere.

 

I camped out there for 3 days two years ago with a cart. The only spot you can see anything is the hill on turn 4/5, but still only a couple corners. You need to get up on top of something large to see more of the track. I tried to get my friends in for an RV, but they wouldn't do it.

I have plenty of beverages for anyone that has a full time elevated hangout

 

I will be going on Fri only.I live in S Fl so if you anyone needs tickets for the 12hr race you can have mind. No sure might have 2 or 3 tickets. I am not really into the endurance race prefer the races on Fri.

 

2 more weeks! There are so many great additions this year.

 

Tickets confirmed! So how we doin this? I know Charles if coming from Tampa so he'll prolly take 60 to get there, do we want to meet x place at x time?

 

Okay! Where are we meeting up at ? I'll be there Friday afternoon sometime.

 

I'm leaving first thing in the morning. For those that read this, lets meet up a few hours after the start say 12 noon by the media center. I'm assuming Charles will have his EvoM swag on so hopefully he'll get there before then and we'll look for his shirt. Or he'll be waving a huge flag . I'm at Sebring. It's raining. The 1st race I got to see today was the Mazda series, kinda zzzzzzz. IMSA lights were next, a little better. The race I was waiting to see, Speed GT, was pretty much rained out. I'll see you at the Media Center at 12 for sure, probably sporting my new OMP umbrella, lol.

Well that was a flop, granted we don't know what the other looks like lol. 30 mins left! Go Porsche go!

 

Psssh yeah, turned out, I was committed at the box, taking some photos for the company who's suite it was in. Glades Utility. At the very least I should have some good shots of the race. Sorry about the miscommunication. I saw 3 Evos there, though, a GG IX MR, WW VIII I think, and a Silver VIII. Isn't St. Petersberg coming up? Anyway, I'll post up the picks when I get the CD.

 

I was there. The 12 Hours was a good race except for the hour caution. The finish was classic. My pics can be found here:

I also saw a Silver VIII (w/ carbon fiber hood) and a GG IX MR in the same area, kinda in the back part of the track.. maybe turn 13? Not exactly sure.. I was there, but lost track of time to meet with u peeps, didn't have my car there though.

 

I wish I would have checked this part of the forum before I left for Florida. I did notice a few evo's at the track.

I'm sure myself and some friends from way up north will be heading there next year.
