Speaking of video, Teddy got some quick pulls in my car running pump gas on film. Was short shifting around 6500 to 7k and 3 people in the car but I am sure he can comment on how it feels

Ernie, where you on i295 going northbound between Duval Rd and i95 this morning about 6:40AM? I passed a 2G with same color as yours, looked like Volks, and HID head lights. If it wasn't you it damn sure looked exactly like your car. Oh and it was very clean.

 

I have an imposter! I've heard that I have some sort of twin around town, but it's been a while since someone's called me swearing I past them. Most of the time the guy seems to be in Orange Park. If it's around sunset or sunrise, I drive with the HID's on the foglights and not with the HID's on the low beams. They're 3000K and bright *** yellow so you'll know it's definitely me. Lindsey doesn't have foglights, so I doubt it was her you saw too.

You're coming on one of the craziest weekends of the year.

There's the regular Sonic night off Beach Blvd near St. Johns Bluff where all the enthusiasts and ricers hang out.

Then, it's also Florida vs. Georgia weekend where the parking lot outside the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium has been proclaimed the "largest cocktail party" in the world. Google that and you shall find, but all the clubs and bars WILL be packed and the hotels have no vacancy for a good distance.

The Annual Greater Agricultural Fair is also in town and it's the very first weekend.

The last SCCA autocross at Gainesville's Roadcourse for the season is going on Sunday in Gainesville, but that's about an hour from the heart of Jacksonville.
