You're going to have to find a tradeoff, because finding a performance tire, that is soft, and still last 10 to 12K miles is hard to find. Theoretically, having a softer compound will have low treadwear rating, which inevitably means will not last as long as a tire that has high treadwear rating. Most tires that have high treadwear rating will in turn have a harder compound. Cost is also a huge factor to consider.

A caravan of two cars? Saw you in Kat's Z and itzwolf doing Mach 1 when I was on the way back from Rod Run on Saturday for sure. I know who was clearly in the lead though. I had to roll with a bunch of ponies, but they were all pretty cool. You would have had more fun. 8 SVT Cobras, 3 Lighting SVT's, and one fox-body. It was a fun invite from one of their members and they thought Kylie was fast? I hit boost once at 15psi 11.0 on the nose? Made it round trip from Daytona and back going A1A south and coming back north on I-95 and barely moved the needle from Full.

Jon had his car also and was attempting to break the sound barrier with me on a couple occasions, we went at it a couple times for ***** and giggles When you called me, I figured you saw Jon and I because we had just finished a run that got well into 5th

I feel my car is doing very well considering I am pushing few psi less boost than Jon and an extra passenger Either way it was a fun run down! Car is running VERY strong, my twin pump fuel system is getting sent back to Buschur, I have a bad pump so I have a single back in there rigged to work and modified as a HO pump. Plenty of fuel for the boost I am running but I dont want to push it much more just in case. If only I had a COP and the twin fuel pumps fixed, I'd tinker with some race gas and maybe about 40psi

Amber and I are planning to be there next weekend! We may not be down early Saturday because that is her employers "Family Day" and she wants to go to it, which it looks like it will be a fun event. We'll probably end up leaving Jax around 4ish (hopefully earlier) and make it down there for evening fun and go in on a hotel room with Ron to save a few bucks
