im trying to decide now between the evo x or ix
read some negative stuff about the x, but also read about the ix mr tranny problems
any comments or suggestions

Nothing is wrong with the IX MR tranny, I have said it a million times I'm putting down about 415-420 whp with NO problems. People have 500whp with no problems as well, get the IX.

Also $40k and they told you it was a "show car" = BS IMO, unless they can prove it then dont believe it.

Yeesh, I paid around $32000 for my IX MR, though I got the Mitsu employee pricing. Prior to arranging that pricing I had them down to $33,500 I think through negotiating. I wouldn't be paying either for car that is two years old.

i got them down to $35k + tag.tax.title.etc
ill see if they sell it at $35k incl tag.tax.title.etc
