That's understandable...plus you'll be needing a deserved break after the shootout

Anyone that is apprehensive about it being an 1/8 mile track shouldn't be. I had more fun running at this track then I ever have. The actual competition is awesome, and it being an 1/8 makes it a drivers race (for heads up of course). If a slower car cuts a better light and gets a better 60', they can win because the faster car doesn't have time to catch up.

This is a fun track and you are driving to win, not just get a good time slip.

I wasn't all there last time and I drove terribly, I hoping I can redeem myself this time out. I'll be shooting for you Oscar .

I was interested in the last one at first and would be in this one as well if it were an 1/4 mile track. Good luck with the event to all who compete. "May the best man win"

Sucks. We just got back from the mountains for the South Carolina DSM/EVO Meet during the first time around, and we would have just got back from the drive from the Annual Shootout for this one. Wish we could go, but we're already taking our vacation time to make the drive up and back down from Ohio. Maybe next time.

The fact of the track been a 1/8 mile is not going to stop the community meet and greet that we're anticipating ,thats what make this event interesting and fun

That my friend is the highlight of our event

SO COME AND BE PART OF THE FUN!!

Depending on what the scenario looks like after the EVO/DSM shoot out, I will be going to compete. I gotta make sure I can give Pete a run for his money first

More competition equals more fun. I'm definately up for the breakfast meet once again. Are you having your regular meet at your restaurant on Saturday? if so we can coordinate there.

+1 and do they have to be a specific type? I have one, but I don't know if it's certified by someone other then DOT.

Negative. No helmuts were required although I did see some folks wearing theirs. Most of the guys in our competition didn't wear one.

That's another beauty with Lakeland...you won't get thrown out for lack of safety equipment
