All that power and it being RWD, it's not really that surprising.

1000+ RWHP Supra's have a hard time hooking as well. This is what makes AWD shine.

A shame I did not make it there on time. But it was nice to at least have lunch with you guys afterwards, .

I had to work on my car to get it ready, and by then, the rain got there before me, .

I will be the 1st. one at the gates on the next one.

 

so who won?

 

No one. Event was cancelled due to incoming weather. We got rain checks. We still had fun though. Only two Subaru's showed up. We need to get the word out to the Subaru community for the next event in October. The Evo's always show up in full force.

 

Pete, it was good to meet you and the red beast. Hope you had a safe trip back to Miami.

 

Likewise. I arrived at 12am last night. Very tired. I'll be back again. I don't mind the 4 hr drive. The EVO community is strong in central Florida.

The next is scheduled for the 21st of September. Hope there are no storms then, that would be teh suck.

I really honestly thought you photoshoped that in there when I first looked at it.

 

I have been trying to post pics since last night after the meet, 1st fail = a 5-hour power outage, 2nd fail an all night cable outage, 3rd fail = me falling asleep while the uploads go over my phone!

I really enjoyed meeting everybody - Dave, Pete, Bill, Frank, Dion and the old faces - Ryan, Eddie, John. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one, hope everybody makes it!
