I didn't make it back from Charlotte until about 1 this morning... LONG day but it was a lot of fun. It's raining here now so I don't know if people are up for a meet or not.

I don't know man, I need to sell these last two parts then I can "maybe" afford an exhaust. I got my UICP & Drop-In Filter. Not going the intake route on this one. Too many damn problems with them on the X. I still haven't decided what exhaust I want. I'm tooooo damn picky.

Internally, I got all my **** for my Nav Unit. I just don't have the Nav Unit. Going to try and get EvoScan running on it, so I can do some logging.

Hopefully I'll have the Nav Unit ordered tomorrow. Then it's whatever is left over in the sig.

Not on the X it isn't. The intakes are useless on these things. The gains are marginal and the problems are ridiculous.

awww ok... bobby has done some tuning wonders with X's hommie

 

supposedly most of the problems go away with a proper tune (most x's that have gone belly up have been with intake's or wastegates on a stock tune). But I agree that the stock intake is adequate enough for the stock turbo...once you upgrade the snail tho you most will start to see gains due to an aftermarket intake.

 

Exactly, and until the tranny cooler's get released and more test time I'll never be in range of needing one. Not to mention I'll need a clutch pack just to get past 350trq from what I hear...


Anyway, we need to have a meet because I need to hear some dual tip aftermarket exhausts on the X. I know kelvar's got a Perrin for me to listen to who else has something to show off?

 

Gullie (Kenny) had an exhaust on his X MR at the last meet, but I don't remember what it was...maybe he'll chime in

I have a Buschur Catback with the "quiet" Magnaflow. I'd love to hear the Perrin.
