Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area Meet
For tuning... wide open. Its easy to do since it really only takes an hour or so depending on what you have done and if you are going SD. For major projects it is really by appointment. We literally opened the doors in the shop 2 weeks ago, and 2 major builds, 2 clutch jobs and some other interesting things hit the bay immediately. We will always take the work, we just hate telling customers, yeah, 1 week, just to get the car in the door and 2 months later, oh by the way.... we're just starting
Whenever you are ready... drop me a line

ooo shiny... btw i think the end of season cookout at my place will be in Nov. Since the shop cookout is the 6th and my b-day is the 7th, I'll plan on the 13th or 20th. I'm leaning towards the 13th as of right now. So start RSVP'ing so I know how many burgers and chips I have to buy :-)
trust me man, you get a 2200deg coating in black on that thing and you wont need that blanket. About the time you reach down there one day to move or adjust that blanket and a tiny metal sliver stabs into your hand outta that thing you are going to remember me
that and it looks ghetto, i thought you were more picky than that
honestly, only time i would use one of those is like on a RWD car that has a turbo sitting close to either the ABS module or master or firewall.

luckily I have done some testing comparing ceramic coatings and blankets for industrial furnaces at work, we saw huge temp. differentials using the blankets (fiberfrax) over the coatings. so this was one of the main reasons why I chose the blanket over it. I did send out my manni to tirado to get it coated simply because it wasn't feasible to create a blanket for it.
will see how they both perform, but my guess is that I will be able to touch the blanket with my hand and won't be with the manifold.

They look ghetto but there's no denying they work. Question is, is it better to keep the heat in a turbo or let some escape
ur turbine wheel spins based on pressure, and pressure rises when heat is applied. so yes sustaining the hotside heat is a plus.
thats also why some people experience slower spool with tubular manifolds vs cast. Cast iron sustains heat alot better than tubing.
