The weekend of April 27th. I'm taking off that Friday and driving there in the morning and then coming back that Sunday. You'll love that car so much more after driving that road

 

I am still debating whether or not to go. I am really busy during that time. Tough call.

 

Realistically, I'm out for this trip.

The Evo should be gone by then, and there's no way I can see the e30 being together by then.

I am planning on going weather permitting. I just got a new gopro for the dragon trip so I'm can't wait to get some practice using it.

 

Well if I can force Justin to work on my car non-stop once I get this new harness maybe I'd be able to make it. I swear if it's not one thing it's another with my car.

I'm planning to go to both. The fair grounds is nice because you can show inside and the Town of Cary one is free if you preregister.

 

When is the "big" Cars N Coffee? The one they charge you to show for?

I looked around the vette and italian forums, and don't see any concrete details. Should be coming up soon though.

 

It is in May. I participated last year. It is sponsored by the Porsche Club that shows up.

However, I hear talk that Cars N Coffee may have to move because of a few teenage adults doing burn outs and stuff as they come and go. I suppose I could understand the property management not liking it. I'm sure the event isn't insured in any way, so suppose I could see their concern. I guess we will have to see.

 

I'd really hate to see the cars n coffee meets get shut down. There isn't another show that has that many exotics and modern sports cars. The grill 57 meets are awesome but are definitely geared towards classics (although I love they don't care if anyone else wants to crash the party and show their ride).

 

I wouldn't be a bit surprised by that. I've seen it time and time again in my life where a few jerks ruin it for everybody.

This exact thing is going on in Charlotte right now, and they are being allowed in a single lot with the understanding that they are "out" in April, so they are looking for a new spot.
