hello evom , I am the owner of the silver 8 with the 9 bumper with the cf lip and canards. Not sure if you guys have mistaken me for someone else with similar features on their car but I just though I would clear the air. First of all I wanna sAy to ryAn that i'm sorry that happened and I can honestly say I have no idea what you're going through but it's gotta be a ****ed up feeling. To address the other point of the theft of the vehicle, because someone, I'm not pointing any fingers is making it sound like Someone with canards and a lip was lurking around the meet. To that someone, my name is leon and I drive a silver 8 with a 9 bumper ( had it months before the theft) and I was nowhere near the meet. I'm actualy upset because I'm a big fan of evos and would have loved to have been there. And if there a ever a meet like this again please believe I won't miss it. Leon u can say my name I have no problem with that, I was going based on what some1 who left at that time said. No1 said they were lurking all I said was I never saw the one w canards neither did most people. Trying to beat the odds basically, also I thought it was some1 elses car. So my bad for how I word it, just trying to pin point out w.e i can remember.

I'm still in shock as to how someone could've taken the evo from under our noses. Aren't all the evo's equipped with a special key meaning you can't screwdrive the keyhole and take off with it.???

Seems to be someone very familiar with the platform, they probably used some sort of standalone ecu to get around the immobilizer, and a screwdriver, lock pick, etc to start the car.

Yeah I did get tuned that same day and actually made the most power out of the other 3 that were getting tuned, however, 1 was another member of FSS and left before I did, and the other 2 were still there at AWD getting tuned when I decided to leave.

Reading to catch up. When I left around 11:00ish there was a silver X with gold wheels and a black IX that pulled up as I was leaving. At the time I didn't think anything about it.....but who knows. When I left I even walked over to Jeff's Evo to see the pink/faded paint that a few were talking about. Look fine to me by the way. I do not remember seeing a silver IX next to Laure's car. I had to walk past hers to look at Jeff's. Since i saw the PM and all this today, when i got home from work I looked at mine. My rear trunk is a little bent out of wack and paint scrapped off were it look like someone tired to get my JDM tail lights.

also how can the silver ix not be there at 11 when uleft but it was there at 12:30 when some1 took a pic as they were leaving.

it was a blue x with gold rims and a black evo 8 pulled in when you are leaving. im the one in the black evo 8. we saw you and about to come across to say hi but when i get out the car, you already start pulling out the parking lot. (see the picture attached)

my bf already confirmed the silver 9 next to mine is ryan's car. I'm sure when i left there around 12:20, the silver 9next to me still there!!!

if they want ur ride, they will find a way to take it
