Alright everyone...Remember the event you had in Orlando late last year that was moved from Ga down to Orlando? This time I'm not leaving for Iraq and there is nothing stopping me from hosting my first event. I know Wost-Wanted, Procco, and a few others are willing to come up to Ga, I'm just trying to get a feel of how many will be at the track so that I can make plans with the track guys. It will be around the end of June or in July, I plan on having a bikini/wet t-shirt contest , vendors can set up booths, heads up racing leading to a final 2 or just straight up grudge matches.

This is why I'm posting. I want to make this an event full of things YOU want. This isn't for me...its for you all that come out. The more cars that show, the more likely its going to happen again. This is open to anyone thats in the area who wants to come out to Valdosta Ga area. We're about 30 miles from the Fl border.

Help me, help you, help me make this a huge successful event. Its going to be opened up to everyone. This way the EVO's can put the rest in their place

So shops...build up those cars and be ready to lay it down at the track. You guys will be the stars of the show. Bring your parts you fabricate, bring parts you want to get rid of. I want this to be big, lets make it big.

Please feel free to PM me with ideas and for those shop owners, PM me with any inputs you may have. Procco, I know you're a pro at this, if you have advice please chime in.

All successful Evo events take place in Orlando for many reasons. From shop saturation, to Evo saturation to dealer saturation.

 

I agree...but my goal is to wake up the scene here in Ga and to give you guys in Orlando a different "view" or a change of scenery. The track here is awesome, paved parking, etc. I'm looking to Orlando to help me with that. If anyone can do it I know you all can. Plus its open to all cars and people that share our passion.

I am up for a meet it's been years for me. Back in 2003 I set some of the first meets. Last big one I went to was at the Dragon/ North Ga mountains. Where are you planing to have the meet?

Thanks for the input. I'll be sure to post on the Atlanta forum also. I started out here since this was the biggest EVO forum. The event will be at the track in Cecil which is about 30 miles from the florida border on I-75. Its an awesome track. See the link in the first post for pictures and map of the place. it can be a great event/meet. I'm opening it up to all sport compacts...anyone who shares our passion is welcome. EVO's, Mustangs, WRX's, etc are welcome. I want to bring the scene to life here. There's potential but someone needs to wake it up and I plan on doing that.

 

Ill get Ft Benning to come down....at least 8 - 10 cars out this way.
