hey guys, im considering moving to huntsville alabama, and im wondering if theres any members there? any road race tracks? car clubs etc. i have family there but non of them know.

 

There is road racing in Nashville, Birmingham (Barbers ... great track) and just past Talledega (TGPR). There are a few members in that area as well, but most of us are around B'Ham.

Depends on the EMS. There is an AWD dyno in Huntsville (unless they closed) and the next closest would be in Atlanta I think.

It's best if I let others in the area speak on tuners.

 

na im rocking stock ecu due to emission regulations in dallas.

There are some tuning shops in town. The AWD dyno mentioned above is at a place in Madison called Static X. They tune nearly every STi around here, and the few Evo owners around here have some work done there. Irony.

 

I went to static x the other day... They sold their AWD dyno....

 

booster9, matt (touring bubble) is the best tuner in the area, apparently he is very modest!!!

statix X wouldnt tune stock ecu anyways, let alone from what i hear tune at all, they send off for a base map on what mods you have done for Cobb, or AEM


i live in huntsville and own a transmission shop, and do a lot of other work for many evo owners in the area!!

as far as other evo owners here in town, i have seen very few, i have seen a white X a blue VIII and my white RS oh and Victors VII... heard of a few more but havent seen them
