3k is a an old rule that doesn't really need to be followed. Modern engines and oils are so good now that it is literally a waste to be changing every 3k miles. Unless you are really beating the crap out of your engine on a daily basis, then I wouldn't change it before 5k. I would check your oil on a consistent basis for not only the oil level, but to see what your oil looks like. If it still looks clear or somewhat clear around 3k, keep going!!

Spec Ops dyno day is Feb 2 at 10am. Anybody want to join me? I dont wanna be a loner lol. $50 for 3 pulls on the dyno or you can just go and check out all the cars

I talked to COBB techs the other day about useing AMS maps if I purchased a Harman Motive intake, they said I should be ok just make sure I log everything. AMS intake is idenacal to Harman motive. I just cant pay $400+ for a tub with a filter on it. But Cobb ok,ed it so I will purchase the Harman Motive intake, check it out I think they go buy AQ motors now, They have a bad *** time attack EVO X so there products are well tested.
