Hi my nme is Charles and iwas wondering if you guys in miami and florida know of nay good oplaces to live there. My girl is going to florida tech and we need to move there. I would like to know how the prices are there as far as rents jobs and so on a brief discription how is the 5-0 lol. So any info would be nice. thanks guys.

i live about 20 mins from pnama city and it gets pretty crazy around spring break and suring the summer. this is a great area to live, good jobs , not really bad rent. but i dont know how far away that school is.

Daytona is cool! Hehe, spring break is better here! Well I don't really know but it's cool down here too.

I don't think you were thinking around Daytona area, but you could come visit sometime.

The police are pretty cool here except for South Daytona. In northern part of Daytona near the beach almost towards Ormond, theres a good hangout spots for Import cars and everything where everyone meets, and police roll through sometimes just to check on things and they are cool, sometimes they ask what each person has in there car and we just small talk then they leave. No real bother.

Melbourne is pretty far from Miami and Panama City. I've passed through Melbourne before and it looks pretty boring. Is you girlfriend going to Florida Technical College?

 

listen im in the tampa bay area and its great, as far a melbourne goes, that is where i planned on moving first but there isnt really much there, so do try there, tampa bay is the place to be

 

Orlando has Disney but Tampa has Mons Venus (the real happiest place on earth)

 

I believe that Florida Tech is in Melbourne. This is on the East Coast of FLorida about half way. It's a nice area, but like the rest of florida, its growing. There is an active SCCA region that has Autocross.

AS for employment, what do you do? I travel the area and could provide you with a heads up.

Well for work I use to be in the reatil business such as sears sales in electronics. Aslo did call center and customer service. My bigest job was being an accountant for a refinance comapany. Right now i am just a manager for oc register in cali.
