We need to print t-shirts quoting jotan for all the CFL guys to wear.
Actually I think he is correct in his assumptions.
I dont know how many guys from Central Florida that I have seen, met, and invited to hang out, chill, or even partake in the central fla scene; including posting on this board. Everyone usually just flakes out.

It's something to talk about at the g2g for sure.
I think the problem isn't unique to EvoM.net although it's a little more glaring here. I'm comparing to places like the Mini boards or the Mazdaspeed or even the RX-7 forum. They have a lot of enthusiasm over there and a g2g of some sort always seems to be in the works.
Over the last couple of years there's really been an influx of new cars and of course new people both in the sport compact community and Evolutionm.net. It's natural that there will be a lot of confusion. It's also natural for things to sort out by themselves. Those who have a true passion for the car, the road, and the experience will weather it out. Those in it for the image will fade away. Just be patient. We have, after all, one of the greatest cars in the world in our corner. It only makes sense for us to have a world class community as well.
I think it'll take a good initial g2g like the one planned for the 27th of this month to get everyone pumped up - more excited with a greater sense of community. That said, I hope we get as many people out there!

how late do you guys plan on going, because if I don't have a hectic day at work, I'll try to get up there by 8 or 8:30. You guys have no idea how pissed I am that I'll be stuck at work instead of at this.
