My car was also tuned by Jason at Spec-Ops when they came up to VA. they installed my injectors, fuel pump, and gave me a great tune. but don't know what the full potential of my car is yet cause I need to install my new clutch, and I had a major boost leak. The tune that I got was excellent though made my car run a hundred times better and I am very happy with the work that they have done. I am just waiting for them to make another trip up so I can get another tune done when my clutch is installed.

I'd go with Spec-Ops. Few reasons;they do really good work. Its a military ran business so for the guys who will purchase evos in the military in the area and for those that already have one and need work done they are honest and straightforward with you and any other customer. The work they do is just as top notch as the big tier-1 shops you would find in the northern states and out west. They dont tune your vehicle just to make it a brute they do it to the safest level to ensure that you get d--- good performance and long gevity from. I.e. when you have a tuner and wrench guy who have OCD you can expect your whip to run better than the competition. Thats my opinion. For those who object you can put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Have you Chris? If so, which one would you prefer over the other and why? Reason behind your questioning? Just curious as to your intent on questioning a customer of ours....

Chris, it comes down to customer service and an excellent product. A shop that will drive 45 minutes at 1am in the morning in order to help another shop prep a car to be tuned knowing that it is going to leave them about 2 hrs of sleep before a full day of tuning the next day. Its driving 2 hrs to a customer who has a car that is unsafe to drive to retune it in order only to make the car right so that perhaps in a few weeks, possibly a correct tune can be put on the car.

I think, but cant be certain... didn't i tune your car before ? Awhile back ? I think i have... i really cant remember a single complaint from you about the car.... nor have i ever received a single complaint for the parts we have provided for you.

It erks me really that you'd make such an obtuse comment on a thread that is simply looking for a decent tune in this state and it just so happens, there is a lot of support for a company you choose not to support. I will tell you.... support and respect is earned, not given. I'd say we at Spec-Ops our working our tails off to earn every bit of respect we have so far, and dont plan to stop anytime soon.

Have a wonderful evening, and enjoy the new youngin.

It was great spending the day and hanging out also! I look forward to the next trip and seeing what round of mods you go with.

Thanks Gary, I know you've been around the Evo community for a while so that means a lot.
