Last year wasnt that big because it was in Myrtle Beach, SC. A lot of VA ppl didnt want to make the drive. The year before in VA beach there was about 80 cars that showed up. That's why it was moved back to VA Beach again this year.

It's a definite that it's going to be in VA Beach this year. Only way It would get canceled is if there was some major storm.

From the looks of it, it looks like it will be the first july date 15-17. As for a lot of ppl, It's VA beach. If a fellow Mitsu owner saw a group of evos/lancers/galants/mirages driving down the road out of instinct they would join.

Last few days to vote! Anyone have any places they would like to take the group? Im up for suggestions on this. Of course going out to eat is one of them. You guys name the events that should happen. We are coming up with ideas of what to do as well and we will let you know what they are at a later date.

Where is the meet going to be at? I'm not a big fan of AIK because of how small the track is but I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem with us using there lot since I'm sure some would go into race. There is also a huge lot at the Super K on Holland and it's always empty since they closed it down. I would suggest the hotels at Greenbriar for people traveling since the resort hotels are going to be pricey since it's peak season.

 

I haven't thought that through all the way. I was giving myself till the end of Feb. to come up with something. AIK does sound like a good idea. Isn't there a laser tag place around there as well? I've only been once with my friends. I will check out the old Super K on Holland this saturday. Is it close to a place called Cool Stuff? And I've already told the ppl over at the other sites that Greenbriar would be ideal. It would most likely be best if everyone coming from out of town would book within the next 2 months before the rates go up again.

 

The only laser tag place I know of is on Lynnhaven right before you get to VB Blvd. I haven't been there in a long time but if I remember right, the parking wouldn't really be sufficent for a large group. In that same area there is also a place called Hangar 09 which is some Jet fighter simulation place. I've never been there so I can't tell you much about it. Motorworld might also be a good place for everyone to go. Yeah the Super K is I believe 1 or 2 lights farther down Holland past the shopping center with coolstuff. I love that place. Yeah I believe Greenbriar would also be ideal for out of towners. Easier on the wallet and you won't have the hastle of the oceanfront police and the hotels IMO are nicer. updated to signup list instead of making another thread about it. Taking a cruise around VA beach tomorrow to find a good meet up spot. I've been told a few suggestions.

 

Bumping this to get some ideas. I will update this by next week with a lot more details. Jason@specops hit me upin a pm so I can get a general idea of what you would like to do and what days and time you would be available during the meet.
