Emissions in TN

TN Evo owners please chime in,

May take a job in TN around the Nashville/Franklin area. What's the 411 on emissions and exhaust. Any counties that don't do testing? Good suggestions on where to live/register if I do move down there?

Thanks

I know in the Williamson and Davidson Counties (Nashville and Franklin Counties) have emission checks. I don't know the testing procedures for Davidson but in Williamson County, we have the cat visual and OBD emissions testing....Hope that help

If you have any other questions pertaining to middle TN hit me up via PM. I'll be glad to help.

Yes there are emissions in Nashville, as long as you dont have a CEL you're ok 90% of the time I would say. Been through emissions 4 or 5 times without a cat.

Wilson county does emissions so does sumner county, davidson, and alot of others. Where I live in trousdale county we do not have emissions its about an hour north east of nashville. If we had emissions alot of diesels would be f'ed. Most places around here that do emissions only do visual from what I've heard and don't really care.

Knox County doesn't do ANYTHING. So you're free to run a straight back TBE, which is what I'm running now. As much as they charge us to renew our tags with this wheel tax they had better not add inspections on top of that!
