Boost Solutioons

Well I have to say my car is now running 100% come to find out I had a bad harness on my xede computer. George replaced that today in about 10 min and it's running great now, no CEL idles fine and this is how it should run, also fast as hell. If anyone knows me I am not a small guy and with me and my wife in the car I pulled out of a strip mall and gassed it and it hit redline right away and the *** end of the car came around and it just kept spinning. Man this car is FAST and smooth. Just wanted to say again thanks to George for fixing this problem because I did not know what to do.

Ryan great to here you have everything fixed cant wait to get ride in it now that is all fixed up. Man I am afraid though if I do I will end up finding some cash to buy those cams. Have you found out any setting for the cam gears yet?

Yes set the gears to -2 and -2. I should have them on by this weekend. I spoke to my stepdad and he said he would help me install them because he has been working on cars for 30 years and is a pro.

Glad to hear everything is running correctly now. George is a great guy who really knows his ****. I've been down there twice in the past 2 months and I live in Raleigh NC. Did you see his setup?!?! It's going to be a BEAST!!

Now he is saying -3-3 on the gears lol. Also does anyone know what I can lock these gears with to make sure they never slip? I tried locktight and it did not work so well.

Hey Ryan, I know you had your boost controler set pretty low the other night with us. Have you cranked it up a bit to get the performance your talking about or is it still set at 17psi?

I did not change the boost still like 17-18 down low and 20-21 up top. I think the thing was not working 100% and the stock ECU was helping it. The deal with the xede is it was not working 100% right, it did control boost but when I would start the car the xede when really cold would click and click and it would kick out a TON of smoke of raw fuel. Also when I went from vac to boost and boost to vac it would click. It is only set to click at HIGH boost and keep clicking untill boost drops what it does now. I will give you a ride the clicking is kinda strange but at least I know it's working. Also no CEL anymore, I had that damn thing for like 1 month lol Also I need that xflash and cam gears then I can run 23-24 psi plus a extra 25ft of TQ
