Looking for info on the silver Evo that I keep meeting (Blue WRX) on I-85 North in Gwinnett.
I see now it is you. What's up man? What mods are you running? Were you starting in 4th or 3rd gear?

Actually I think that's me he's referring to. I've seen you like twice now, I've got the license plate "voosh?" :-)
Ohh and the answer to your "test question" would be a Black Cobra, surrounded by lots of traffic. hehe Yeah I was on the phone the last time with my GF and all of a sudden I see a the guy in the cobra shoot over three lanes and you were right behind him. Took me a few seconds to downshift since I was holding the phone.
My only mod thus far is an autronic stand alone. I really need to get an exhaust, but trying to save my pennies and it's not really in the budget right now. Maybe summer time.
Love your wrx, looks nice. What mods have you done besides exhaust?

I remember that license plate- it was calling my name! That Mustang guy thought he could smoke me easily. Both you and he got good jumps on me though. I got to start in 3rd next time. I'm going to go out today and tune my a/f ratio, it was around 11.9, way to lean. Maybe a couple of more pounds of boost too
. Thanks for the nice comment on my WRX. I had a silver Civic with a Jackson Racing supercharger before this car and I loved that color. Your car is sharp as hell man. If I had the money, I'd trade my WRX in for one just like it. They start out with so much more potential. Here is a list of my mods:
IHI VF22 turbo
STi 550cc injectors
3in. turbo back with Car Sound 3in. cat
catless up-pipe
Load I/O fuel control
UEGO 1000 wideband
Vishnu EMI Adapter
Turbo XS boost cut defender
cheap no-name cold air intake
Applied Tuning Technologies data logger
Hallman manual boost controller
It was nice to hear from you. I can't believe that all you have is the stand alone. That's awesome. Who does your tuning? I used to run a Haltech E6K on my Civic but went back to a piggyback due to idle problems. I'm trying to see how far I can get with just fuel control on the WRX. I work at Ft. McPherson and live off of Lawrenceville-Suwanee so I'm out there 5 days a week. Maybe we'll meet up again sometime
. It's rare to come across someone in a nice car that isn't afraid to run a little.

That's funny that you found me on here. I figured you'd have some pretty good mods to be running like that. The VF22 turbo is definitely a wise move. Have you got any dyno numbers yet? How much boost are you running?
My buddy up in Lexington, KY (where I’m from) owns a shop and did my tuning; he’s got a 4wd mustang dyno. Stock I was at 207whp, and with the autronic I jumped up to 246whp. The mustang dyno’s always give a very low reading but they are very accurate. All of the evo’s that they’ve run on there are all between 205-210whp stock. He’s got a white evo with only the autronic, hks turboback, and a greedy twin plate clutch that pulled a 12.2 @ 112 in the quarter, lots of potential if you’ve got the cash.

Sorry I also am in Gwinnett and go 85 N and S to work and Lawrenceville Suwanee every day at lunch time. Must have been a different WRX I was thinking about.
I was running around 18.5 to 19 psi max but went out on Sat. night and turned it up to 21 psi. I'm still working on the a/f ratios though, it's a little on the rich side now. Once I get it all straight, I'll take it to the dyno at the Gwinnett Subaru dealership. What I need now is a big front mount intercooler.

Hey Recursian... You should come meet up with us evo guys sometime. I think we might meet up in Gwinnett tonight if you want to stop by just let me know. I'd like to see your setup.

Sure man. Where and when are you meeting? I'd like to bring my wife to see the Evos. She going to need a new car soon ;-) You need to take my car for a spin to see how it compares to yours.
Thanks,
Chris

Looks like we're having a small get together tonight at Dave & Busters in Gwinnett around 6:30-7:00. Last week we had about 10 evo's, and the week before that we had 13. Not sure what the turnout will be like tonight, but the gf is busy tonight so I've got nothing else to do.

It's almost 7:00 and we're just getting home. By the time we could get over there it would be too late. Let me know when and we'll catch you the next time. Thanks for the invite. Do you guys go to Atlanta Dragway? I can't wait till it opens in the spring.
