There prices are HIGH for 1 day, check out this link

Better price and 5x the track time.
Also I sure wish some of the people here were doing track days, I am going in March 19th at road atlanta, then April at barber then roebling in may.

I don't care how good of friends they are $500 for 2 days of track time is a rip. Chin has 2 days for about 300ish and you get 5+ hours of track time.

track days
The keys to most events are price and number of cars.
I have been to chin and they put too many cars on track at once - makes getting clean laps very diffcult. Progression of drivers to higher groups is not hard to figure out also.
Generally the rule of thumb for whatever its worth is 20 cars or less per mile of track. Where that came from - I don't know - but events with this formula or close to it seem to have better traffic flow.
Just my 2cents worth.
