As for the EVO meet, We tried that A while ago and didnt get too many people showwing up. Maybee combining it with a meet already going on wouldnt bea bad idea.

Nooooo. Say it ain't so. bluebyyoufla, did you buy the BBY at Sport Mitsubishi on Colonial? I see it every day on my drive to school and it disappeared a few days ago. I thought they just moved it.

Kind of off-topic... I saw a short-spoiler silver EVO on Colonial yesterday around 8:20 or something. Then I saw another silver EVO, tall-spoilered with dark tint, not a mile down the road. Both were heading away from downtown, kind of near the I4 overpass. Sound familiar to anyone here?

stevo8, are u the guy with the blue EVO in orlando? I saw one with a UCF sticker on the back.
Also, a bit off topic...do u know if the evo has a short shifter, cos the gears seem so close and with me just learning, it seems very hard to have the gears so close, especially since the dealer put aftermarket shift nob on.

 

ACtually I have a BCC sticker on the back. I dont know of any other bby in orlando.

I am usually there every three to four weeks though. usually over by the Metro west area.


Yes the gears on the evo are pretty close together from the factory. Once you get the hang of it im sure youll want them even closer.

 

hi, guy i just moved to orlando couple months ago.So i don't know many evo guys around here.Where do you guy meet at and what days, and what time.

 

i live in orlando too but i just got my evo and dont know of any meets. The only "car show" i can think of is on international drive at the sonics, but i dont know if that still goes on, anyone know? If it is, they have some nice domestic and imports there. I used to take my mustang last year and there are always some challenges from civics :0O

 

Congrats on the new Evo, BBYFLa. There's a couple of meets where Evos congregate that I know of. The first is the Fusian meet held Wednesdays @ 8 in the parking lot of the aforementioned restaurant. The second is the DSM meet that happens in the Walmart parking lot on East 50. You'll find us at one or the other.

 

hey thanks for the info haste. I think i might go to the meet this wed, im getting pretty confident with the stick now after practicing this past week P what day is the DSM meet on? I know the super walmart off alafaya, is this the right one?

THe ORL DSM meet is on fridays at around 8:00 pm in the Walmart shopping center on the west side of the parking lot near the video store.

You guys can check out the local DSM club and meets by going to the ORL DSM FORUM

There is an EVO section on that board as well.
