Total Automotive
If anyone needs any work done to your car, DO NOT go to Total Automotive in Holly Hill, FL. First impressions make a lasting impression.
I went to get my wing painted from them. I got it back about a week later, today, (took them a week to paint, kind of long it seems to me), the paint matched atleast, good job on that part, but about the paint... you know when you spray too much paint that it starts to run? well that was on the wing a running paint, that dried up and they just left it! I think it was the clear coat. I would be embarrased to give someone a product like that that I did for them. They didn't even try and cover it up or sand it out. Seems like lazy people to me. Maybe they thought I wouldn't have seen it? It was really noticable too, I have the Evo VII wing and it was right on the outside part in the middle. And also there were a few marks on it, looked like crease marks or something, kinda like scratches. Crap work there, looks like you can sand that right out.
Taking it back tomorrow, good thing the guy wasn't there today, one guy that works at the guy's place just let me take it and I'de pay tomorrow. I'm not paying him untill he fixes the imperfections, then I'm not going back there again. Crap work I think. I was going to have his shop do more work for my car, not anymore, and I suggest not going there to anyone.
The reason I have it painted in my registry pics is because that's painted myself with spray paint. My paint came out better than Total Automotives except the exact color match (almost close with the spraypaint though, many people didn't notice the different color) it just didn't have the shiny glare from professional done. If I had to chose between my painted wing or the wing he gave me today, I would have chosen mine, but since I am paying for him to do this, I want it done right.
Sorry just had to vent a little. I had a wingless car with holes in the trunk for a week and when I think it's gonna be back on it's not.

If you ever need any body, paint, or custom fab work done I would 200% reccommend The Collision Station for any of you in Volusia County!
They are reasonably priced, and you won't get jerked around there! They are automotive enthusiests that are super **** about the quality of the work they do! I have had all of my WRX's body work done by them as well as our Supra. I send them ALL of my customers that buy body kits and custom body parts from us.
The thing that sticks out in my mind the most about them is that my car was keyed 3 nights before the Super Street Tuner Bash and with out any notice I brought my car in, and they worked me into their already packed schedule to make sure my car would be done in time. Not only was it done in time, but it was aboslutly PERFECT! I am extremely particular about paint work! I don't want to see any fish eyes, drips from where someone "ran the gun", pearl mismatches, or the dreaded paint lines inside the doorjams. I could not believe how well they fixed my car! It looked show room quality! I have heard that the Subaru World Rally Blue paint is one of the hardest colors to match because of the type of pearl in it, and it was absolutly flawless! I haven't seen another body shop yet match it as perfectly!
I like that they remember my name when I go in there, and I don't feel like a number! I like that they don't talk to me like I am stupid, and they don't settle for anything less than the best!
If any of you ever need great paint, body, or custom work, I will highly reccommend The Collision Station in Port Orange (just south of Daytona).
Their number is 386 671 1616. Ask to speak with Rick. He is who I deal with. Tell him I sent you, and he will hook you up!

Nice, I will make sure to go by there when I need painting for my body kit or anything I get that needs painted.
But just for a followup. I took my wing back to T.A. the next day. The guy says he didn't notice it... :/ He said he was sorry about the mistake and he would wetsand it out and fix it up and have it ready by the afternoon. That was about 10:30am. Went back almost 2:00 and he wasn't there (the shop owner who was painting my wing). I Talked to another guy working there, said he left, and he looked over to the painting area and everything was shut down. My wing still sitting in the box I brought it in. I am going after school today to pick it up. It better be done!!
