Attention ATL EVO's (Silver Dollar 5/23/04)
I drove down and got 6 runs in yesterday at this event. I didn't leave to 1:00 and got there around 3:00. I did alright and my best run was 12.41@113. I have over 12k miles on my car and I am still on stock clutch and I would either bog or spin and get sideways when I launched. I am on stock turbo and have a conservative through the mail dynoflash. I had a 1/2 tank of 93 and I added two gallons of c16 and ran 21 psi( I usually run 19psi daily on 93). I think the car is definately capable of 11s with a new clutch, more boost, and when I fine tune my afc with the dynoflash. The car was also full weight even with spare and jack in trunk. I also live in Marietta and drove 2 hrs straight at 80 mph to the track and did my runs soon after and my car didn't even get a chance to cool off. It was hot yesterday so if it was a little cooler that might have helped too. This is also the first time drag racing my evo and my first time drag racing in 2 yrs. It's kinda embarrasing when your 60ft and r/t time are the same.
My mods are Buschur exhaust, Buschur intake, Buschur FMIC w/ piping, HKS 272 cams, Crower valve springs and retainers, ARP head studs, 660 injectors, Walboro fuel pump, HKS evc 5, and Dynoflash.
Also, if I would of showed up earlier and registered, I might have won my class and got some money....oh well.
I'd like to give props to Buschur Racing for all the parts, Al at Dynoflash, and Batlground Engineering who installed all of my parts.

Thanks to everyone who came! It was a little hot, but because of the reschedule (original was rained out), attendance was off a little. That meant lots and lots of runs. I know a DSMer who ran all day managed 21 runs!
I loved the show out from the EVOs! There were at least 4 (I think 5 actually) that ran. The guy with the red EVO even won some money. It wasn't a large amount and I bumped him into the DSM class, but he was up against Keith F (high 11s and low low 12s all day long) in the Supra in the first round in the Street class and probably would have walked away with nothing had I not bumped him. I didn't really get a chance to talk to him afterwards, but he seemed a little annoyed when he found out, I just wanted to explain I was trying to help him out.
We'll definitely be having this again next year, looking forward to it.
