Do any of these communities have homes on property of at least 1/2 acre ?

 

no, just Maronda Homes in my sub. Not near as nice as Jab's- homes from 120 to 175ish...

 

I have now had 2 seperate people ( People from Sarasota & Ocala) tell me that the crime rate is really high in Tampa. Any input ?

 

honestly, it depnds on where you are. If you are IN Tampa, then yes, it has a higher crime rate, but since you will be living in the one of the "nicer" neighborhoods, you won't have anything to worry about... just be sure to check out the area, and check with those in the area before you move there.

 

Any info on Ft Myers/Naples area ?
My company has a decent sized office in Naples that I can transfer to.

 

Naples = BIG $$$

Ft. Myers = not so bad

 

never been to either, sorry

 

Naples is very expensive and the traffic is bad year round and even worse during winter season.
