Saintjab...
Dude, go with the 272's man... the 264's are good and all, but if you wanna upgrade that turbo, the 272's are what you'll need... I promise there is no negative driving experiences with the 272's... The idle is awesome... Makes other guys go, "what the hell is in that thing??!" Just another Florida guy tryin to help out.... Later, John....

I'll worry about cam dimensions when we get this tune together. Otherwise there's no reason for me to get them. I've had some discussion with Al about the cams, and I'm sure I'll have more in the future, but I have to keep two things in mind. One, this is still my daily driver (doesn't have to be, but I love it so) so it has to be completely streetable. Which leads to two, I really don't plan on a bigger turbo at any time, because of reason one, and finances.

I appreciate the advice and I've been debating it in my head a lot. Either way, I'll worry about it once I get this tuning event together. Cuz even 264's are no good without a tune.

Thanks man!

I can't believe there isn't enough interested in all of central FLA area to get Al down here for a tuning trip! All it takes is four more custom tunes and he'll book the flight.

I know we have one custom tune ready to go, two base flashes, and at least three people for re-tunes. Let's get a couple more custom tunes together and we're all set.

Any questions please feel free to PM me anytime. Thanks!

Yes you will see an increase over stock. but I would at least get a filter down pipe and a boost controller if you can by then.

its not yet determined if everyone wants dyno time and the AWD dyno is in at aerocomp it may be there if thats cool with al since it would be the only one in town; if not it will be a street tune somewhere in the area.

post this in the orlando thread also so more peeps see it.

About what kind of power gains would you expect if I get an intake system with the dynoflash? I dont know if I can afford a boost controller right now so im just trying to see if its worth it right now. Im a newb when it comes to modding engines so if you think its worth it then put me on the list!

I would recommend the BR filter (no mas pipe; to save money for now) $80, a boost gauge $50, and a boost controller $90. With those mods and a custom flash you could net as much as 40 - 50+ WHP. In fact you can skip the intake and get the boost gauge and controller; since you'll see way better gains that way.

The real difference is how hard the cars pulls on the top end after the flash. Where the car used to fall off after about 5,500RPM it now pullls solid to 7,800RPM (rev limit). Very worth the investment!

As far as where we tune; it will most likely be road tunes, like here in Tampa. Al prefers to tune in real conditions and fine tune on the dyno. But I'm sure he will facilitate some dyno tuning if so requested.

Ok sounds good, i already have a boost guage installed so i can skip that. So all i would need is a boost controller which is less than I thought. I could probably go for a boost controller as well as an intake! How much for the custom tune and what boost controller would you recomend? Thanks Siantjab

The full 2.5 hour custom tune is $495. I would recommend the Hallman Pro Kit Al sells. It has all the necessary vacuum lines, T's, and caps for $90. Can't beat that. And I have first hand experience because I installed no less than 9 of these for others here in Tampa before the last tune.

Alright, put me on the list as well! Ill be looking forward to it! How much would you charge to install the boost controller? BTW i think Im going to go ahead and get the BR intake without the MAS pipe! I think Ill be happy with the results. Now its time to save up for a turboback exhaust!

I'm running the BR filter with no mas and love it. Sounds great and Al can tune it perfectly. I'm putting you on the list now.

PM me and we'll work something out for the controller install. It only takes about 45 minutes.

Well Ive got a filter with no MAS adapter if someone wants it. Its one from RMR. You would have to find a MAS adapter but Im sure you can find one around town.

siantjab
Ive got MY Halman MBC sitting here ready to go in. But I have no Idea of where I am going to install the Cockpit mount in the car yet.

I got it from al and I cant wait to put it in. Did you put it in from the top or underneath the car. Thanks
