Alright, members of the CLC have put together a mountain run and would like all to attend. Starting at around 8am, member of CLC in Raleigh/Durham area and such will be meeting a few others in Creedmoor. From there, we are continuing to South Boston Va and then onto the northern area of the parkway. We will be making a couple of stops....possible in well traveled areas so if anyone would like to join in. Here's a quick detail of the trip.

Our little adventure will be taking us up thru South Boston, Va. into Bedford, Va via back roads then to the parkway around Peaks of Otter campground. I figured we could stop and get something to eat along the way or something like that. Then from Peaks of Otter down the parkway and stop at a little place called Mabry Mill from there down to Stuart,Va. From Stuart south on hwy 8 into Winston-Salem, depending on time mabey stopping somewhere there. From Winston-Salem I-40 back towards Raleigh and home.

If you're CLC, please post up information so that arrangements can be made to meet up with us. Also, others who would like to attend...please post of your location and we'll try and figure a way you could intersect with us to join in on the run.

Meet at McDonalds in Oxford @ 8:00-8:30am I-85 N. exit #204 then left going north McDonalds is on the left at the first light. Anyone that would like to meet us up in Va. let us know where. And I will see if I can work out the travel time for us to get where you will be. There's a Sheetz gas station in South Boston,Va. @ hwy 501 & hwy 58 in Va. for example.

Alright....under the circumstances of these two situations...........WE ARE WANTING TO POSTPONE THE MOUNTAIN RUN. RALEIGHEVOVIII JUST GOT TWO FLAT TIRES TODAY AND WON'T HAVE THEM READY BY THIS WEEKEND. I HAVE JUST SPEND ALMOST 2GRAND IN SCHOOL TUITION AND SCHOOL BOOKS.......WON'T HAVE THE CASH TO ENJOY MYSELF. So, here are the options......postpone for around first weekend in september or so so that more can join.................or you can continue you're run minus two CLC members. PLEASE POST UP FOR YOUR INPUT....

 

I din't mind a reschedule but I won't be able to make the first weekend in sept. If there was anyone else that was going to go please chime in, about what you would like to do. I don't want to show up in the morning to meet everyone if no one is going to be there. Thanks
