Its getting cold soon, what else is there to do? When are the track going to be close? Maybe a track day?

 

I'm down for a mountain drive in Dahlonega. We can run up to Woody Gap and back down Nells gap.Wait for the leaves to fall a bit more so the sight see'rs are done.A cool morining works good,(heh intercoolers love it) or later morning if you wish.I leave for sema this week,but Im good for the13,20,and 27of november.Hell,I think I might try and filtch some c-12 from our dyno,just for the run.

 

Track day or mountain deive is fine for me, I am available on the 6th or the 13th.

Oops ,wifey says i spoke too soon. I open the 14,20, and 21. i am Hosed all other weekends.We can pit stop at my house.

 

I'm down for this. I heard some real good stuff about this place froma guy who I knew before. He drove a bike and the M roadster. He used to go there all the time and wanted me to come and drive with him.

I wouldn't do it any later than late november, since it's going to freeze up there in a bit.

 

A few friends of mine and I went up to the mountains near Dahlonega yesterday (Saturday). There was a good deal of traffic, but we were able to space ourselves out, and get lucky enough, to get a couple of clean runs through the passes. It was good to remind myself why I bought a $30000 “econo sedan”. I saw some pretty nice cars up there. There were a bunch of Vettes and bikes along with the mini vans and SUVs. I also saw a Murcielago that had a 360 Spyder right behind it. I saw a Lotus Esprit and an old 70’s issue Lotus Europa. We pulled into one scenic overlook / rest stop and a couple of kids almost crapped themselves when they saw the Evo. They asked me a ton of questions about the car.
